NEW! – New video post format

Over the past 5 days we have not been slacking. Well, at least, not both of us.

I have put together a youtube page to host all of our featured videos on. So basically, if it’s been posted, it’s on our YouTube channel. And this trend is going to continue throughout this project’s lifetime.

All of the previous songs that have been featured on our page have a raw file made with the new videos. Unfortunately, not all of them are rendered yet, as it takes about 10 – 30 minutes to render each video.

We have not decided if each video will have it’s own artwork or if we will have multiple songs with the same artwork.

It’s on the chalkboard for now.

Anyway i hope you guys enjoy this sample video and the new format.

Spread the site around! we need to start building traffic!

What’s happening with Drop Culture

Over the past 2 days we have gotten a site up, several songs lined up, a youtube page made, and an email for everyone to send post requests to, several video backgrounds made, and a site banner has been made.

Over the next 1-2 weeks you will see the following:

  • A flood of videos will shower the page
  • We will be adding an “artist of the week” widget
  • You will get to learn more about Spyderseven and Budlust with a shiny new About page
  • We will have way more content tabs in the top right corner rather than just the home page
  • We will have a drop box for your music which will be decided upon by us to be added to the feed

Thanks if you’re tuning in already, your support is everything to us.

cheers,

s/b

Darkstep + funnies? INSIDE the same post?!

So on the blog we have this list of categories that we file all of our posts under so that once we have 20,503,203 posts like the average american housewife people will be able to find more specific subgenres with our category system.

We have a section for funnies, humor, etc. And it hasn’t been used yet.

While on the topic of Mantis, they have some rather strange songs. Rivers with the “I DIDN’T WANT SALMON” sample. And this, “Never fooled” featuring George W. Bush. Songs like these make us laugh. It’s like the happy hardcore of dubstep.

Most parrots I’ve seen are annoying as hell. Who would have thought that dubstep would chill them out?

Watch through the whole thing, this kid is really good.
